Moro ’41<\/h2>\n

\u201cMoro \u201941\u201d is a blend of Merlot and Raboso Piave.<\/p>\n

The name is an homage to Armando Spinazz\u00e8<\/strong>, known to everyone as \u201c<\/strong>Moro<\/strong>\u201d <\/strong>(dark) due to his skin tone<\/strong>. He is renowned for his congeniality, and always has a joke at the ready. He gets on very well with everyone.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/strong>\u201941<\/strong> \u201d is a reference to the year of his birth<\/strong>: he is part of that group of entrepreneurs who revitalised the north-east of Italy, re-igniting the part of the world that once included the so-called \u201cMost Serene Republic of Venice\u201d and is also home to Palladio\u2019s endlessly imitated villas.<\/p>\n

His two sons Alan and William<\/strong> wanted to dedicate this wine to him <\/strong>in recognition of his tireless support and faith in bringing to life the great Santom\u00e8 company.<\/p>\n

Anna 6<\/h2>\n

\u201cAnna 6\u201d is a blend of Chardonnay and Riesling. The name is an homage to Anna<\/strong>, Alan and William’s mother.
\nThe \u201c6\u201d could be taken as referring, rather ambiguously, to the year of her birth \u2013 something that no woman over a certain age ever likes to reveal!<\/p>\n

In truth, it means \u201cci sei<\/strong>\u201d (i.e. \u201cyou\u2019re there\u201d, but pronounced in the same way as the number six in Italian), because a mother\u2019s love<\/strong> is constant, even when it wants to stay hidden.<\/p>\n

\u201cMoro \u201941\u201d, dedicated to their father, simply had to be complemented by \u201cAnna 6\u201d. In addition to offering up a complex palate, it also embodies something of the love of two sons for their mother.<\/p>\n

Santhomas<\/h2>\n

After \u201cMoro \u201841\u201d and \u201cAnna 6\u201d there came \u201cSanthomas\u201d, a spumante ros\u00e9 produced from Pinot Nero and Pinot Grigio grapes, dedicated to Tommaso<\/strong>, Alan\u2019s first child, the beloved grandson\/nephew <\/strong>of his grandparents and aunts and uncles.<\/p>\n

This \u2013\u00a0the company\u2019s latest wine \u2013 is, accordingly, a young ros\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ros\u00e9\u2026 Rosy like the multitude of roses that face the rows of vineyards.<\/p>\n

Ros\u00e9\u2026 Rosy like the cheeks of the newborn\u2026 And like the future of a company that is already well-established and now, with this new \u201cbud<\/strong>\u201d, is laying the groundwork for many more years of success.<\/p>\n

Sanrichard<\/h2>\n

Spumante rosso based on Raboso Piave. The Santom\u00e8<\/strong> saga continues. After Tommaso (Santhomas) there came his brother Riccardo (Sanrichard), the red spumante with a heart of Raboso.<\/p>\n

This is a new \u201cpiece<\/strong>\u201d in the Santom\u00e8 mosaic: the family is getting bigger, reaching its steady state. From our first, tentative steps, we have arrived at confident leaps, from the first wails to a decisive roar<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0albeit one that leaves a sweet taste in the mouth\u2026<\/p>\n
